Thursday Tip: GIVE LOVE!

Take the time to appreciate your students as children, not learners.  Hug them and love the little squirts unconditionally!!

Albert Einstein (a man with intelligence comparable to my own... :D) once said "Everyone is a genius.  But if you judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree, it will go its whole life believing that it is stupid."  Wow!

Watch me!  I'm inspiring!

Be awesome!

That is all.

  2. Janis,

When I first came across your blog a minute ago I almost hopped away seeing as it had been some time since your last post. But your blog is so cute, I decided to stay for a minute and scroll down. You are a blessing who shares what I so strongly believe. I even shared about this in a recent post about how we are not teaching a curriculum but a child and his/her heart. I try and share often inspirational poems I have written about how our first job should be to love that child unconditionally and embrace them with patience. I leave your blog not only as a new follower but blessed.

I would be honored if someone who shares the same passion I do for touching their hearts before trying to reach their heads would come visit me.

You have touched my heart. Thank you!

The children in your classroom are blessed beyond words.

  3. I agree Janis! Letting kids know we care is in my opinion the best way to reach kids! One of my sayings is...they don't care what you have to say until they know you care! Great post!!!
