Let's CELEBRATE!

Well...I survived Irene!  Power's back on, cable & internet are back, and it's no longer raining inside my apartment!  I really lucked out, especially compared to those around me.  So...let's CELEBRATE!

Because I feel like a MILLION BUCKS, I decided that everyone could use something to make THEM feel like a Million bucks!  Here's a copy of the Million Dollar Project that I use in my classroom! I originally used it with my 5th graders for extra credit last year but THIS year, I plan on doing it with my entire class!  Included is an instruction page, rules, a tracking sheet, and a few pages of checks.  Download it soon though because it's only free for the next 48 hours!
Don't have a Teachers Notebook account?  You can download this item at TpT too!

  3. Glad to hear you made it through Irene. Thanks for the great deal. Can you tell me where you purchased the scrapbook clip art used above? I really like the flags and the backgrounds.
    Thanks

  4. Thank you so much!! I can't wait to use this with my 5th graders. I randomly found your site over the weekend while I was searching for ideas/activities for my early finishers. I ADORE your classroom and the things you make! You're so creative! If you don't mind, I'd like to share your site with some of my other teacher-friends. I know they'd love to "borrow" your ideas and would possibly buy from your store. :)

  5. You're all too kind! I adore this project--practical and relationship building and FUN!

Mrs. Exner, the clip art is from a variety of sources. The graphics are from the "Around the World sites" set at Lettering delights while the flags are from Print Candee on etsy!

Ashley--please PLEASE feel free to share! That's why I started this blog!! I love to share and wanted to maximize my "sharing potential." I truly believe that teachers work so very hard and there are so many GREAT ideas and items already out there. I'm just trying to give back and work smarter--not harder! Our educational system needs our energy for other issues now. Steal steal steal away! :D

  6. I am planning to use your Million Dollar Project as a summer camp at The Learning Center of Southwest Iowa in Creston, IA. Can you give me an idea of the number of hours this project might take? We were thinking of using it with 5-7 graders...do-able? Thank you Reasa Sturm - Teacher Coordinator
